The Duke of Wellington, 19th Century Embossed Card Cameo Portrait. Identical to the embossed cameos from 'The Royal Cameo Scrap Book of Embossed Heads' by Kendall & Co. This cameo by Charles Whiting and circa 1840.
Approximate frame dimensions are 25.5 cm height and 19.5 cm length.
Approximate tan coloured portrait section dimensions are 11.2 cm height and 7.6 cm length.
Approximate weight is 336 grams.
Unexamined out of frame, so cannot tell if this was taken from the book, or a promotional item. Some staining to the bottom left hand corner of the tan coloured inner section. The frame is later.
