George IV Silver and Carved Mother of Pearl Cased Dessert Knives & Forks for Twelve. House in their original red tooled leather fitted case with a beige velvet interior.
All fork stems and knife blades are hallmarked for Sheffield between 1824 and 1829. All bear the maker's mark of Aaron Hadfield.

Approximate knife dimensions are 19.1 cm length and 1.6 cm blade width.
Approximate fork dimensions are 15.5 cm length and 1.6 cm tine width.
In good overall condition with wear commensurate with age and use. The tines and knife blades in very good condition. The finely carved mother of pearl handles are in good condition, with one knife handle having a small chip near the collar (last photo). One fork with silver wear to the tines and high collar wear (penultimate photo). Two knives with the blades at a very slight offset angle to their handles (first photo). All of the knife blades and fork stems are held securely in their handles. High wear and staining to the original red tooled leather fitted case, as per the photos.
Not for dishwasher use. Wash only in lukewarm water.
