This exquisite Art Deco Silver brooch is a fine example of the work of renowned English designer T.L. Mott, celebrated for his delicate and highly collectible butterfly wing jewellery.
The brooch is oval in shape, measuring approximately 1.5 inches in length, and features a beautifully preserved butterfly wing panel depicting a serene tropical beach scene, complete with palm trees and a tranquil shoreline. The natural iridescence of the butterfly wing creates a luminous, almost ethereal effect, shifting in colour as it catches the light.
Encased in a finely crafted sterling silver mount, the reverse is stamped “TLM Sterling England”, confirming its authenticity and maker.
Dating to the Art Deco period, this piece perfectly captures the era’s fascination with exotic landscapes and fine craftsmanship.
