Art Deco 18ct Emerald and Old Cut Diamond Ring, 1946
The centrepiece is a rectangular step cut emerald of vivid, lively green, flanked by smaller emeralds of matching colour. Between them sit six old cut diamonds, bright and white, with the softer sparkle and hand-finished facets typical of 19th-century stones. The gems are held in claw settings, and the shoulders and gallery are pierced and carved with delicate detail, as seen in the best Victorian rings.
The ring is in good antique condition and shows light wear consistent with age and use. One chip to the corner of the center emerald. Please see the photos for the details, which form part of the description.
