This item which dates to circa 9th -10th century AD, is in wonderful allover condition.
With splayed open ended terminals with ring and dot decoration , this is a fabulous stand out piece.
The body of the bracelet is of a tight barley sugar twist design, which is seldom encountered and confirms that this piece would have belonged to a lady of wealth and standing in the Viking community.
