A Roman Military ,Gilded Bronze, Crossbow Type Cloak Brooch.

A massively rare to find,  roman military gilded bronze ,crossbow type cloak brooch.

This item which dates to circa 4th century AD , is in wonder condition and is complete with its original fastening pin.
It is of solid cast form and complete with all three of its onion shaped terminals and approximately 
80 % of its original gilding. 

It would have been worn by a roman officer and likely a centurian or above , making this a very
desirable item.

Size 7.5 CM in Length.
