A very nice looking Roman Ladies bronze headstud type cloak brooch.
This item which dates to circa 1st -2nd century AD, is in lovely condition.

It has deep chip carving decoration to the bow which may have originally contained enamel.

And although the fastening pin has been lost in antiquity the safety chain loop is remarkably still present..

A good solid robust piece found near thetford in the early 1970s.

Size 5.2cm in Length.
