Description
A very attractive looking ,late Stuart period, hand blown, onion shaped Wine Bottle.
This item which dates to circa 1720 -1740 AD, is in very nice condition.
Of a deep black colour, with some circular trackmarks to the surface, which were likely caused by the movement of the tide and with some chipping to the string rim as can be seen , this item is free from restoration and repair.
Lovely pontil mark to the base.
Size 17.0 CM in Height.
Thames river find 1974.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
