This is an original René Lalique “Coquilles” (Shells) bowl, moulded in clear/opalescent glass, that dates to c1924. The design features scallop shells with a very art deco feel. The model number is #3201.
"R Lalique” and “France” are wheel cut into the bottom surface of the base.
The bowl measures approximately 21cm wide and stands 8.5cm high.
The bowl is in very good original condition. There is some shelf wear to the base on the peak of the shells where it stands. Other than this there is minimal overall wear other than that to be expected for a piece of this age and usage.
There is no original packaging.
